There are many advantages and benefits of BBB Accreditation:

Before a business can officially apply for accreditation, the BBB will verify the business is eligible. Basic eligibility requirements are to: be in business for at least one year; not have any government actions against your business; and, not have any open complaints, or a pattern or history of complaints. If you qualify, a BBB Business Development Representative will meet with you to discuss accreditation more in depth and complete your application with you. Once your application and payment are submitted, the application goes through an extensive approval process to ensure all BBB Standards for Trust are met. This can take approximately 21 business days. Once approved, you can start to market your BBB Accreditation immediately!
Use of the BBB logo is a key benefit of BBB Accreditation as it is a recognizable symbol of trust. When you become BBB Accredited, you are given a plaque and a window decal to proudly display at your place of business. In addition, you are emailed access to the dynamic, interactive BBB Accreditation logo to upload to your company’s website, as well as access to BBB logos to use in print advertising. Contact the BBB Business Relations Department for to ask about other products and opportunities available to market your BBB Accreditation: 303.758.1658. You also were provided electronic access to the logo to download for all of your printed materials. We encourage you to use the logo on your letterhead, proposals, estimates, marketing materials, yard signs, business cards, advertisements, etc.
Accreditation fees are determined by company size—i.e., the number of full-time employees—and the level of support the company wants from the BBB. We have Basic Accreditation available as well as marketing packages. Additional locations are subject to an additional annual due. Please ask your Business Development Representative for details. BBB Accreditation dues may be tax deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. The BBB of Denver/Boulder is a 501c (6) nonprofit organization.
